Start the year in full bloom on our Tournament of Roses Parade Deluxe Tour—a five-day Southern California getaway that blends pageantry, Hollywood glamour, and island serenity. Enjoy reserved grandstand seating for the 138th Tournament of Roses Parade, with an exclusive up-close view of these amazing floats before and after the parade, a New Year’s Eve Monte Carlo–style celebration, and a scenic Catalina Island excursion with a Hollywood studio tour.
Designed for comfort, culture, and connection, this small-group experience (max 45 guests on a coach bus) makes celebrating New Year’s effortless and extraordinary.
We will stay at the Hilton Orange County/Costa Mesa, centrally located in the heart of Orange County and just a short stroll from the world-renowned South Coast Plaza Shopping Resort. This tour is in partnership with Sports Travel and Tours, and you will be joining other friendly travelers on this trip.

We will drop off anyone with flights out this afternoon, Saturday, January 2, 2027, at John Wayne Orange County Airport. Please schedule your return flights to depart any time after 1:30 pm.

Gratuities for Tour Director and Driver: We recommend $7-$10 per person, per day, for your Tour Director and Driver. You may want to bring an envelope with cash for the Tour director and Driver on the last day.
Meals and Beverages: We include most meals during the tour. However, there may be occasions when lunch or dinner is not provided, allowing you the opportunity to explore local restaurants. All included meals are noted in the itinerary.
Travel Insurance: Travel insurance is not included but is strongly recommended. We can assist with this if needed.
Additional Notes
Physical Activity: Some excursions involve walking on uneven surfaces. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
Weather Considerations: Average daytime temperatures range from 55°F to 70°F, while evenings can be cooler, dipping to around 49°F. Keep in mind that on the day of the Rose Parade, it may be cooler in the early morning, and you will be sitting outside for a few hours. There is a low chance of rain showers, but we recommend packing a light, packable rain jacket or umbrella just in case. You may want to bring a hat and gloves for the morning of the parade.
Dress Code: We recommend dressing in layers, bringing a light jacket or sweater for the evenings and early morning, and comfortable walking shoes. Don’t forget a hat and sunglasses for daytime excursions, as the sun can still be strong. For the most part, this tour is casual. A fancy outfit for our New Year's Eve Party is not required, but you are welcome to dress up in your favorite New Year's Eve outfit if you wish.
Dietary Restrictions: Please inform us of any dietary restrictions or allergies in advance so we can make appropriate arrangements for your meals.
Payment/Cancellation Policy:
Full payment is due at the time of booking. If you would like to pay by credit card, you can do so at the time of booking. There is a 3% credit card fee for using a credit card. You can also mail a check if you wish to avoid the credit card fee. Checks should be made out to Travel Deliciously and mailed to 2419 N. 62nd Street, Wauwatosa, WI 53213. Arrive in Orange County by 4:00 PM today. Complimentary airport transportation for those arriving into John Wayne/Orange County Airport (SNA) will be provided. Tonight, settle into your stay at the Hilton Orange County/Costa Mesa and enjoy a welcome dinner at our hotel. Tonight, you will meet your Tour Director and other travel companions.
This morning, after breakfast at our hotel, we will visit a float decorating facility. Here, you will see firsthand how the floats for the Rose Parade are decorated. The float decorators will be hard at work putting the finishing touches on the floats, and you will get to see a few of these floats up close before they head out to be in the parade. Next, we’ll enjoy a tasty lunch at Lawry’s The Prime Rib in Beverly Hills. This afternoon experience Hollywood like never before! We will take a guided tour of a working Hollywood Studio. You’ll see where the movie magic is made and learn about the rich history of the film industry. Tonight, head back to our hotel to relax and enjoy dinner on your own at a local restaurant.
This morning, after breakfast, we will head over to Catalina Island. We will board one of the Catalina Express ferries for a one-hour cruise to the island. Once on the island, you will have free time to explore the island on your own. You will love the storybook town of Avalon. This town is filled with boutiques, restaurants, and so many things to do! You might want to take a tour of the historic Casino, take a guided tour of Avalon, or rent a golf cart or bicycle to sightsee on your own this afternoon. This Evening, we will take the ferry back to enjoy our New Year’s Eve Gala! Tonight, you are invited to a “Monte Carlo” style Casino party. The night will be filled with elegant dining, dancing, and fun! There will be hats, tiaras, party favors, a drawing for exciting prizes, and a champagne toast to ring in 2026! It will definitely be a night to remember!
This morning, enjoy an early breakfast at our hotel before we head to Pasadena for the 137th Tournament of Roses Parade! You will have reserved premium grandstand seats as you watch the Rose Parade pass down Colorado Boulevard. You will also receive a souvenir program and blanket when you arrive at the parade. After the parade, we’ll return to the hotel for a Backyard Style BBQ just for our group. Following lunch, you will have some free time to relax before joining us in the ballroom in the late afternoon for an exclusive surprise performance!
After breakfast at our hotel, we will head back to Pasadena to see a spectacular “Showcase of Floats” on display at Float Fest. You will get an up-close view of all the amazing floats! We will then drop off anyone with flights out this afternoon at the John Wayne Orange County Airport. Please schedule your return flights to depart any time after 1:30 pm.
