Additional Notes

Physical Activity

This tour involves moderate physical activity, including walking through vineyards, small towns, and winery properties, some of which may have uneven terrain. Comfortable walking shoes are strongly recommended.

Weather Considerations

April in California Wine Country brings mild spring temperatures ranging from the mid-50s to low 70s °F. Expect cool mornings and evenings with warmer afternoons. Rain is possible, so packing layers and a light waterproof jacket or umbrella is advised. Comfortable, weather-appropriate shoes are essential for exploring outdoor sites.

What to Wear & Pack

Layering is key for spring in Sonoma. We recommend breathable clothing for daytime activities—such as long-sleeve shirts, pants, or dresses—along with a sweater or light jacket for the evenings. Bring a rain jacket or umbrella just in case. Comfortable walking shoes are a must, and don’t forget sunglasses and a hat for sun protection during vineyard visits or outdoor tastings.
