Air-Inclusive Guests:
Your journey begins at O’Hare International Airport, where a Travel Deliciously representative will greet you and guide you through the check-in process for your international flight. Detailed travel documents and assistance will be provided to ensure a smooth departure.

Land-Only Guests:
Guests who have made their own travel arrangements should plan to arrive at the host hotel in Naples by the afternoon of Tuesday, October 20 in time for the welcome dinner. Complete arrival instructions, including hotel details and local transportation options, will be provided prior to departure to ensure a seamless start to your experience.

Ending Point

Air-Inclusive Guests:
At the conclusion of your Italian adventure, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your return flight. Upon arrival back in the U.S., your tour officially ends at O’Hare International Airport. A Travel Deliciously representative will be available to assist with arrival and any immediate needs.

Land-Only Guests:
For guests with alternative travel arrangements, the tour will conclude after breakfast and hotel check-out on the morning of Thursday, October 29. You are responsible for arranging your own return transportation from the host hotel. Detailed check-out and departure instructions will be provided to ensure a smooth and stress-free conclusion to your journey.

Meals & Beverages: We include most meals during the tour. However, there may be occasions when lunch or dinner is not provided, allowing you the opportunity to explore local restaurants and enjoy regional cuisine on your own.

Personal Expenses: Personal expenses such as laundry, phone, or data charges.

Passport & Visa Fees: Passport or visa fees. Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months after the tour ends. No visa's are required for 2025 travel.

Travel Insurance: Travel insurance is not included but is strongly recommended. We can assist with this if needed.

Additional Notes

Physical Activity: Some excursions involve walking on uneven surfaces (e.g., archaeological sites, coastal paths). Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

Weather Considerations: October is a wonderful time to visit the Amalfi Coast, with mild temperatures and fewer crowds. Average daytime temperatures range from 60°F to 70°F (15°C to 21°C), while evenings can be cooler, dipping to around 55°F (13°C). There is a possibility of occasional rain showers, so we recommend packing a light, packable rain jacket or umbrella just in case. The weather is perfect for outdoor activities, making it ideal for sightseeing, walking, and enjoying the beautiful coastal views.

Dress Code: October on the Amalfi Coast offers mild temperatures, ranging from 60°F to 70°F (15°C to 21°C), but it can get cooler in the evenings. We recommend dressing in layers, bringing a light jacket or sweater for the evenings, and comfortable walking shoes for exploring the stunning coastal paths and historical sites. Don’t forget a hat and sunglasses for daytime excursions, as the sun can still be strong.

Currency: The local currency in Italy is the Euro (€). Credit cards are widely accepted, but we recommend carrying some cash for smaller purchases, such as snacks or souvenirs at local markets.

Italian Time Zone: The Amalfi Coast operates on Central European Time (CET), which is 7 hours ahead of Central Standard Time (CST). Please keep this in mind when planning your schedule, making travel arrangements, or contacting the tour team.

Voltage: The voltage in Italy is 230V, and the frequency is 50Hz. If you're traveling with electronic devices, you'll need a plug adapter for the standard Type C or Type L plugs used in Italy. Additionally, if your device isn't compatible with 230V, you may need a voltage converter.

Dietary Restrictions: Please inform us of any dietary restrictions or allergies ahead of time so we can make appropriate arrangements for your meals.

Travel Documents & Visas: Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months after the tour ends. Starting in 2025, U.S. citizens will need to obtain an ETIAS authorization to travel to Italy and other Schengen Area countries. This is a simple online application process, and approval is usually granted quickly. Please apply well in advance of your departure.

Your Italian adventure begins! For guests on the Air-Inclusive Package, meet your dedicated Tour Coordinator at Chicago O’Hare International Airport for a smooth check-in and group send-off before boarding your overnight flight to Italy.

Guests on the Land-Only Package should plan to arrive in Naples by the afternoon of Tuesday, October 20, in time for the welcome dinner and orientation at the host hotel. Detailed arrival information will be provided in advance.

Guests arriving on the group flight will be greeted at Rome Fiumicino Airport by your local Italian tour guide and escorted on a scenic private coach transfer to Naples. After checking into your hotel, enjoy some time to relax or explore the area.

Land-Only guests should plan to arrive at the host hotel in Naples by the afternoon. Hotel check-in instructions will be provided in advance to ensure a smooth arrival.
