A 17th-century recipe that remains unchanged. The crisp yet tender texture, the creamy filling, the way it pairs perfectly with espresso—it’s a bite of history that transports you to another era.

The energy inside the basilica is indescribable—peaceful yet humbling.
Manoir d’Apreval in Pennedepie: A Taste of Normandy
Traveling outside of Paris, we found ourselves in the rolling countryside of Normandy at Manoir d’Apreval, an organic cider estate. Tasting their apple-based specialties—crafted from orchards untouched by chemicals—was an experience in purity and tradition.
