Today, journey to the enchanting city of Heidelberg. This unique town blends Gothic and Renaissance architecture while overlooking the Neckar River. We will have a guided tour of the picturesque Old Town lined with colorful facades, lively squares, and centuries-old landmarks. Afterward, continue through the Bavarian countryside to the fairy-tale town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber, renowned for its perfectly preserved medieval architecture and charming half-timbered houses. Here, roll up your sleeves for a hands-on pretzel-making workshop, where you’ll learn the traditional techniques behind shaping the iconic twist before enjoying a warm, freshly baked pretzel. Your day concludes with an overnight stay at Hotel Tilman Riemenschneider in Rothenburg ob der Tauber and a delicious traditional dinner in a local restaurant.

Ascend to the summit of the Zugspitze by cable car, Germany’s highest peak, where sweeping panoramas of rugged Alpine ridges and endless sky unfold in every direction. Feel the crisp mountain air as you step onto the viewing platforms, taking in vistas that stretch across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy on a clear day.

After descending from the clouds, continue to Innsbruck, Austria, the vibrant heart of Tyrol. Here we will enjoy a Tyrolean dinner and folkloric show complete with traditional music, dance, and regional flavors that bring the mountain culture to life.

Your day concludes with an overnight stay at Lake Achen, often called the “Tyrolean Sea,” where emerald waters and dramatic Alpine scenery create a peaceful, storybook setting for relaxation.

Next, browse dazzling crystal creations at the Swarovski store, a sparkling showcase of Tyrolean craftsmanship. Then glide high above the city on the Nordkette cable car, rising from the heart of Innsbruck into the rugged Alpine wilderness for unforgettable panoramic vistas.

We’ll return to the Entners am See Hotel and indulge in an elegant 5-course dinner, the perfect finale to a day filled with culture, scenery, and Tyrolean charm.

After breakfast, we head to Rattenberg – the smallest city in Austria. Here, step inside a cozy local bakery to watch the making of authentic Apple Strudel—from the delicate stretching of the dough to the layering of spiced apples. Savor a warm slice fresh from the oven, perfectly
paired with Austrian Melange coffee.

Continue onward to Salzburg, the elegant Baroque city framed by mountains and famous for the birthplace of Mozart and the filming of the movie “The Sound of Music”. Enjoy a guided tour of Salzburg featuring some of the Sound of Music filming sites. This evening, treat yourself to some iconic Mozartkugeln—rich chocolate and pistachio-marzipan confections before indulging in a delicious dinner featuring the beloved Salzburger Nockerl, a warm, fluffy soufflé dessert symbolic of the city’s surrounding peaks.

After dinner, travel to Munich and check into your hotel, the Hilton Garden Inn Munich City Center West.
